In-Person Nutrition Counseling in Nashville | Why We Keep Our Doors Open

In-Person Nutrition Counseling Sessions

In a world that keeps moving more and more online, we’ve made a very intentional choice at Iris Nutrition Group: we’ve stayed rooted.

Not because we don’t believe in virtual care—we do. In fact, we love that we can meet clients wherever they are. But there’s something meaningful, something deeply human, about sitting across from someone, sharing space, and being fully present together.

That’s something we weren’t willing to lose.

So we’ve chosen to keep both.

A Space Designed for You

Our office isn’t just a place to “have an appointment.” It’s a space we’ve thoughtfully created to feel calm, welcoming, and safe.

When you walk in, you’ll find a warm, inviting atmosphere. We hope you’ll sit down in our lobby and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and maybe even a snack. Take a moment to exhale and prioritize a space for you to tend to your needs.

Because we believe healing doesn’t happen in a rush. It happens when your body feels at ease enough to open.

Why In-Person Still Matters

There’s a kind of connection that happens in person that simply can’t be replicated through a screen.

It’s in the subtle things:

  • The way we notice body language

  • The pauses, the emotions, the unspoken moments

  • The ability to sit with you in real time

For many of our clients, especially those navigating complex relationships with food, gut health concerns, or eating disorder recovery, that level of presence matters. It creates safety; and we want you to have that as you prioritize your health.

Rooted in Nashville, Serving Our Community

We’re honored to serve clients across the greater Nashville area, including:

Green Hills, Edgehill, Berry Hill, Germantown, East Nashville, Nations, Sylvan Park, Franklin, Nolensville, Bellevue, Belle Meade, and Murfreesboro.

Being local means we understand the rhythm of life here. We understand the culture, the pace, the needs of this community.

And more than anything, we’re invested in it. This isn’t just where we work. It’s our home too.

The Best of Both Worlds

While we deeply value in-person care, we also recognize that flexibility matters.

That’s why we offer both:

  • In-person nutrition therapy in our Nashville office (located on 21st Avenue, near 12 South area)

  • Virtual sessions for those who prefer or need it

Some of our clients alternate between the two. Others know immediately what works best for them.

There’s no “right” way—only what feels supportive for you in this season.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how we meet. It’s about making sure you feel seen, supported, and never alone in your journey toward healing.

Schedule your first session today and take the first step toward feeling at home in your body again.
